Predicting problems in the pet day problem
This week we read a book called the pet day problem. We were learning how make good predictions by using clues. Clues can include the pictures, the titles, and the headings. I used the clues to think about what a problem in this story would be, and I was right. The problem was that the boy did not have any pets, because his family was allergic to fur. He ended up getting a pet worm farm instead which was cool because he won a prize at the pet day.
